Relax. Make it easy

I must admit that I love this 2 things:
  • Chopper (For sure!)
  • Making small rubber stamps.... The ribbon is 2.5cm long and Chopper stamp is 2cm x 2cm.

It's finally a breathable week after 2 master course finished. A new one is coming this weekend. Hopefully this fall would be a better one with one course ONLY. That's mean I would get more personal time.

I went sailing finally. First time renting the boat from LCSD (HK Public service for recreational  activities) after meeting the requirement. I got my sailing level 1 and 2 in Pico, but the centre I went this time only got Topper. It's easy to control, but I like the setting and the spacious sitting place of Pico more. The centre I went is Wong Shek in Sai-Kung. Below is the map of my sailing route. Actually I cannot go too far cause the activity area is fixed.

Comparing to Stanley centre, if it was 3 stars then Wong Shek would be 4.5 stars! First, it's not a beach so you don't need to matter with the sand. You can roll your equipment easily! It's always harsh to load and unload the equipment each time in Stanley. That place is just like a battlefield that you cannot move easily. And area is more clam and relaxing, with less people in Wong Shek (and no beach, that's the main point I reckoned). I love this centre though it took me at least an hour more to get to comparing to Stanley.

There was a house with Swire flag near the zone the I can go. It got a sign there said "閒人免進". Next to that there are some "魚排" (I don't know the english name, but some floating platform on sea for growing fish..).

I was so lousy to forgot to took my camera out. So I just got a few photo on the shore. The weather was so great! Hope I can be there once again!

Etsy。Shop Banner

It's always happy to look at my rubber stamping stocks. Some are made as testing and some are making for fun (esp you can see a lot of anime character there. It's somewhat a very niche product but it always give me more pleasure than others. Chopper from One Piece, Nameko from Mushroom garden, Bear from Triple Town, Thousand Sunny Logo from One Piece)

Making the banner is fun. By putting all these stamps together, it give me a refreshing mind to let me think of what to crave next!

Have a nice weekend! (*´˘`*)

Etsy。First Sale

I just started up my Etsy shop recently and the surprise comes earlier than expected! I got my first sales!!!!!! What an amazing things in the world is that YOU DID SOMETHING and SOMEONE think it is... well, OK to take! (Actually I already consider the $0.2 USDsssssss are account to LOST already, just save a few meal and I can keep my shop running :P)

I am not good in packaging (what the hell of it. I just like to use the paper to wrap the thing and post it! Easy, simple and environmental friendly!) I keep my style and I found some of my testing stamp are quite useful for little decoration. Here is the package I made finally:

And the thing I want to highlight is this beautiful flower. I used it for my friend's birthday card as well as I can't find any others 'common' stamps that can use. Flower is undoubtedly the best thing for decoration. The dots beside it is stamp by twisting the drawing rubber and dip into the stamp pad. It's fast and you can easily adjust the size! But need to be sure of the amount of ink it holds.

Youtube is undoubtedly the best channel for self learning. I just found so many amazing video showing how to do rubber stamp in a more righteous right. Just search out "消しゴムはんこ"!

印。Christmas Tree

A failed Christmas tree rubber stamp. I keep making the same mistake altogether. When you didn't make a good start, you failed.

To play with this failing stamp, I tried coloring. (Well, coloring make it happier, it's a quick medicine to the depress you get when you ruin up something) I tried to use the painting eraser as suggested by some JP rubber stamp book to fill the ball, this method is really fast and good. A quicker way compare to what I can did the same with water color. But it's little bit difficult to control. I think for perfection I would prefer water color as I can make sometime more detail.

印。New World Chopper

*credit to one piece comic #605 cover page
Here's come Tony Tony Chopper again. Isn't he handsome in New World series? Comes with pride this time compare to the cute and pretty Chopperman!

Rubber stamp as this kind really takes time. I did this for nearly 3 hours I think! But when I stamp it on the notebook and see the effect, the effort (and the time I wasted) seems so minimal.

It's a remedy for my life.
